An End to the Ads/Adverts, and a “Thank You” to the Unsung “Happiness Engineer”

Kerwin Holmes, Jr.

You may have noticed that the site looks a little bit differently– namely this: there are no more ads on this website. That is because the website officially now has a purchased domain. So you may now save the simpler-to-remember website TheReasonersCorner.com to your browsers.

It was a bit of a bumpy start, as I had made the error of purchasing the domain for yet another website to be working through WordPress (instead of linking it to my original website beforehand). But that has been resolved again thanks to a rather unsung behind the scenes editor/coder who works for WordPress, a “Happiness Engineer.” The person, whoever that was, was very proficient and gracious in their job and skills. And as a person who learned how to code a couple of years ago (Python…though I had learned TEI a decade ago), I can definitely sympathize with having to deal with so sophomoric a mistake as the one that I made.

That said, rather unfortunately when I refreshed my page after that Happiness Engineer helped me, I lost the chat that we both communicated with. And given how still lacking in user-friendliness the online version of WordPress is (I mean that not as a detriment, but knowing that the website is constantly getting updated and redesigned for the better), I could not log back into the chat to give the Happiness Engineer who helped me out a proper thank you.

I figure it would be fitting for my first ad-free post to be a “thank you” to that person, in any case that they read it. So, sincerely: Thank you!

And at any rate, please do feel free to look at the site as now all of the posts area spaced out and designed as I intended. The longer posts, such as “That the Christ Died on a Wednesday,” now look slightly less unwieldly, and you can (hopefully) see how the form of the argument and the spacing was geared to make the reading more enjoyable (because it does have a lot of information to sift through). And for those of you using audio software to read through this information, now your experiences will be significantly less obstructed and jarring.

Thanks for still reading the blog. And feel free to share it via the easier to remember URL, now.

God bless, and please do remember to always reason humbly. God is ever-present.
